It is near that time again when a new Pestana Resort opens here in Madeira. As always, people working in house are intrigued to find out who will be the lucky people to be accustomed with the privilege of working in house at the Promenade. Naturally, it has always been known that the old school and those who were of the Peter Cox era including several who kept his secrets from others were always the favourites.
Now with new managers and their so called wags or nags whatever you want to call them, people think they will not get a fair chance of a position at the Promenade. It would be a shame if other in house sales staff were passed by and not offered a chance to shine and prove their worth, after all most have been in resorts that have been exhausted many years ago.
